The Global Defense Department (GDD) is an internal Law Enforcement and Intelligence Service on the colony of Caprica.
GDD has a bureau in Caprica City, which is underfunded due to complacency—until the resurgence of the Soldiers of the One terrorist organization ("The Reins of a Waterfall," "Gravedancing").
