Ink Day is a day of particular cultural significance in the life of a Tauron child. Emmanuelle informs Tamara-A that Tamara's father, Joseph Adama, missed his son's Ink Day to illustrate the depth of Joseph's obsession with finding her in V-world (CAP: "End of Line").

In 88 BCH (12YR), Joseph Adama is inked by his father, William Adama Sr., on Tauron. After their father's death, Joseph inks his younger brother Samuel Adama (CAP: "The Dirteaters").

Roughly 53 BCH (47YR), Joseph inks his and Evelyn's only son, William Adama (CAP: "Apotheosis").
