The Hasari were either a race of people or a political organization that ruled over a "nation." According to Commander Adama, this "nation" was seized by the Cylons, an event which prompted the Colonies to liberate the Hasari "nation," thus marking the beginning of the Thousand-Yahren War (TOS: "Saga of a Star World").

Video game

Shaden, the self-proclaimed last of the Hasari (2003 video game).

The Hasari appear as an energy-based, whale- or seal-like creature. A young William Adama comes across a transmission leading him to a destroyed Hasari craft, near which Shaden, who claims to be the last of the Hasari, appears. Shaden informs Adama, who appears to be previously unaware of the Hasari, that the Cylons enslaved them and stole their spacecraft, before finally exterminating them (2003 Video Game).

Notes

  • It is unclear what relationship the Colonies and Hasari shared, or even if the Hasari were still in existence at the time of the Battle of Cimtar.
