Caprican Advance is a magazine publication of the Twelve Colonies.
After the Cylons take Kara "Starbuck" Thrace to the Farm under the pretense of repairing her gunshot wound, Thrace uses a Caprican Connection data disc from this magazine to jimmy the lock, discovering the truth of her situation.
She later reads from this magazine as Simon enters, before plunging a shard from a broken mirror into his neck and making her escape (TRS: "The Farm").
Notes
- The data disc is not seen in the final cut of the episode, but is seen in a deleted scene where Kara Thrace jimmies the lock and happens upon the nurse's station where she sees Simon interact with a copy of Number Six.
