The Colony

From Battlestar Wiki, the free, open content Battlestar Galactica encyclopedia and episode guide
Revision as of 22:38, 17 February 2009 by Johnny 0 (talk | contribs) (Added possibility that Cavil could just be referring to Earth)

The Colony[1] is a place where Ellen Tigh supposedly stored her resurrection research equipment (No Exit) after creating the Significant Seven.

Open Questions

  • Who besides Cavil and Ellen knows about this place?
  • Is "The Colony" the correct name? At least this spelling was used by writer Jane Espenson. [2]
  • Where exactly is "The Colony"? In Cylon-governed space?
  • Is it really a colony or not?[2]
    • If it is really a colony, is it possibly founded or inhabited by people from Earth? Or descendants/incarnations of the Final Five? Or by copies of the Significant Seven? Or is it uninhabited?
    • Or might it be the name of a ship, maybe the ship of the Final Five?

Quotes

When Cavil asked Ellen to help rebuild resurrection in No Exit, he noticed: "They destroyed the hub, but they don't even know about The Colony—all your equipment is still there."
