Morpha is a painkilling medication used by the Colonial military.
The drug is included in all medkits. A Morpha overdose is fatal; it is used to euthanize Socinus in order to spare him a slow, painful death (Valley of Darkness).
A pouch containing several ampules of the drug are given to Felix Gaeta by Hoshi to aid in Gaeta's leg pain (The Face of the Enemy, episode 1).
