Bloodstopper is a medical powder used by the Colonial military to prevent wounds from bleeding in an effective way. It immediately cauterizes gun-shot wounds and other types of bleedings by burning them, thus morpha is used along with it to ease the pain. It is included in standard medkits (Faith).
