Agro-3 is an Agro Ship in the Fleet.

As with other agro ships, Agro-3's primarily bulk is dedicated to containing a greenhouse, outside of basic ship requirements in terms of its control center, engine room, and crew quarters[1].

During the 18 yahren in flight from the Cylons, Agro-3 became of social importance within the Fleet. Beyond its capacity to generate foodstuffs, including heffala berries, fallaga and mange grass, its vegetation also generates oxygen. Thus, sections of Agro-3 were open to Fleet citizens, so that they may partake in the delights of fresh air along pre-ordained garden paths[1].

Following the passing of Adama by natural causes in 7360, a murder of a nearly unidentifiable individual occurs on this ship by the powers of a disembodied Count Iblis[2]. The remains are discovered by civilians[3] and recovered for examination by Cassiopeia[4], and the mysterious death leads to Lieutenant Troy and Ensign Dalton's search of Terence, the agro-worker on duty at the suspected time of the murder[5] (RH: Armageddon).
