A raft is a flat floating structure for travel over water, similar to a boat.
The Cylons have mechanized rafts that are capable of operating under their own power, as well as by remote control. These rafts apparently contain two forward mounted guns.
Such a raft is used by Specter to exchange a human-form dummy purporting to be Megan to Megan's eldest son, Kyle (The Young Lords).
