Medkit contents open next to Socinus on Kobol (TRS: "Scattered").

Medkits are carried aboard Raptors and are used by first responders to medical emergencies throughout the Fleet (TRS: "Miniseries, Night 1", "Miniseries, Night 2", "33").

A smaller version of the medkit is also carried in the emergency survival gear of Viper pilots should ejection from their fighter be necessary (TRS: "You Can't Go Home Again").

Medkits contain bandages, special tools, and medications such as serisone, morpha, and stims (TRS: "Scattered", "Valley of Darkness"). Anti-radiation medication is also included for situations where nuclear fallout is probable (TRS: "33").
