Computron

A computron is a Colonial term for computer.

It is used in Galactica 1980 with the introduction of the navigational computron, the navigational computer within a Viper ^{(1980: "Galactica Discovers Earth, Part I")}. Xaviar later sabotages Galactica Probe 1's onboard computron, forcing Troy and Dillon to perform an EVA to bypass its circuits ^{(1980: "Spaceball")}.

The term is most often used in association with the wrist computron, a device worn on the wrist capable of translation and invisibility ^{(1980: "Galactica Discovers Earth, Part I")}.
