Scorpius Ascendant is a ship of Scorpion registry, named after their home colony of Scorpius. Within the fugitive Fleet, it is known for its comforts and former berth to Ambassador Puck[1].

Following Adama's death in 7360, an ersatz version of Puck moves his quarters from Scorpius Ascendant to Galactica, pursing the role of Fleet Commander[1].

Scorpius Ascendant, under the command of Captain Patroclus[2], declares its independence from the Fleet, declaring that they will not abide by any Fleet or Quorum of Twelve decision until Puck is installed as Fleet Commander[3]. This is mainly symbolic as Ascendant still travels alongside the Fleet[4], until Lieutenant Commander Athena declares that Patroclus and his crew either pledge fealty to the Quorum, or take one of two choices: exile from the Fleet, or obliteration along with their vessel[5].

After the deception of "Puck" is revealed to all, Ascendant's ship and crew rejoin the Fleet[6] (RH: Armageddon).
