A computron is a Colonial term for computer.
It is first used in Galactica 1980 with the introduction of the navigational computron, the navigational computer within a Viper (1980: "Galactica Discovers Earth, Part I").
The term is most often used in association with the wrist computron, a device worn on the wrist capable of translation and invisibility (1980: "Galactica Discovers Earth, Part I").
It is also a term used in the Realm Press comics, first appearing in "The Law of Volahd".
