Shelia DeWindt is an American actress.
DeWindt portrayed Lieutenant Deitra in the Original Series.
DeWindt also appeared as a stewardess in the Galactica 1980 episode "The Night the Cylons Landed, Part I", making the actress one of a handful of actors to have roles in both the Original Series and its spin-off.
DeWindt worked with Battlestar series creator Glen Larson in other Larson shows, including minor roles in B.J. and the Bear, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, and Quincy M.E..
DeWindt has two daughters with Miami Vice actor Phillip Michael Thomas (who co-starred with Re-imagined Series star Edward James Olmos).
