Robert Reed (born John Robert Rietz, Jr. on 19 October 1932, died 12 May 1992) was an American actor.

Born in Highland Park, Illinois, television viewers of the 1970s remember Reed best as Mike Brady, the patriarch a large family in the long-running series, The Brady Bunch (itself based on the film Yours, Mine, and Ours). Before that, he co-starred in the legal drama The Defenders with E.G. Marshall from 1961 to 1965. He had also had a recurring role on the detective series Mannix as Lieutenant Adam Tobias, which he continued to do several times a year even while he was starring on the Brady Bunch. He received Emmy nominations for his roles in the miniseries' Roots and Rich Man, Poor Man.

Reed guest starred as Donald Mortinson in the Galactica 1980 series premiere, "Galactica Discovers Earth, Part I".

Reed died from complications of colorectal cancer at the age of 59.
