Duncan MacKenzie is an American actor who portrayed an Air Force Lieutenant, credited as "1st Pilot," in the Galactica 1980 premiere episode "Galactica Discovers Earth, Part I".[external 1] MacKenzie is known for his work in early 1970s and 1980s film and television, most notably his appearance in the 1971 Andy Warhol-produced film Women in Revolt directed by Paul Morrissey.[external 2]

MacKenzie's most notable film credit is his appearance in Women in Revolt (1971), an Andy Warhol-produced film directed by Paul Morrissey.[external 3] The film is a satirical comedy-drama about three women who join a militant feminist group called P.I.G. (Politically Involved Girls).[external 4]

MacKenzie portrayed the character Duncan, who is identified as Candy's brother in the film.[external 5] The film starred Candy Darling, Jackie Curtis, and Holly Woodlawn, three prominent figures from Warhol's Factory scene, alongside Martin Kove, Jonathan Kramer, Michael Sklar, Maurice Braddell, Johnny Kemper, and others.[external 6]

The film was released on DVD on December 20, 2005.[external 7] While the film was produced by Andy Warhol, later releases clarified authorship with the wording "Andy Warhol presents A film by PAUL MORRISSEY."[external 8]

MacKenzie appeared in the premiere episode of Galactica 1980, "Galactica Discovers Earth, Part I", which aired on ABC on Sunday, January 27, 1980. In the episode, he was credited as "1st Pilot" and portrayed an Air Force Lieutenant. According to IMDb, MacKenzie also appeared in two episodes of Galactica 1980, portraying both a pilot and a guard (credited as "3rd Guard" in another episode).[external 9]
