A V-world stealing device[1] appears as a hand-held vacuum cleaner of a kind, capable of copying a user's avatar code and overlaying it atop another user's avatar, in addition to sucking-up a user's accumulated wealth.
Tad Thorean uses one such device as part of Vesta's plan to usurp Chiron's place in New Cap City (CAP: "There is Another Sky").
