| After the initial airing of the episode, Sci-fi channel made available a sneak peak clip of "A Measure of Salvation" for a limited time. It showed a team of marines, led by Apollo & Athena, have boarded the dying Baseship. It goes on to show Athena attempting to access the computer on the Baseship and is implied at the end of the clip that she had infected herself with the virus. |

- According to an interview with executive producer David Eick, episodes 5 and 6 are a two-part story in which Galactica discovers a dying Cylon Baseship, and deals with a plague that has befallen the Cylons.
