Overview[edit]
- The Circle, a secret tribunal on Galactica, decides the fate of Jammer and other Colonials who aided the Cylons during the occupation of New Caprica. [1]
Summary[edit]
- James Lyman is brought before The Circle. He is found guilty of treason, the punishment for which is death.
- Gaeta is convicted after Tyrol is pressured into giving the deciding vote. In the launch tube, he reveals to the Circle that he was Tyrol's source.
- Laura Roslin is re-inaugurated as the President of the Twelve Colonies, and issues a decree of amnesty against all alleged collaborators, after it is revealed that former President Tom Zarek authorized the trials and sentences conducted by the Circle.
- Still outcast, Gaeta is reinstated in the Colonial Fleet. In the mess hall, Tyrol later dines with Gaeta after Roslin issues her decree. Both eat in silence as the other crew members are taken aback by the act.
Questions[edit]
- Will there be another organization in the Fleet that will continue where The Circle left off?
- What of Lee Adama, Anastasia Dualla and other officers of Pegasus? How will these redundacies be dealt with?
- Why is Charlie Connor aboard Galactica? Outside of The Circle, what was his purpose on Galactica, seeing as he is not a past crew member?
Analysis[edit]
