Smite is a German who owns Smite's Buchhandlung, which is the headquarters of the local German resistance effort in Peenemünde, Germany in 1944 CE.

With Troy, Dillon, and Jamie Hamilton, Major Stockwell brings them to Smite's bookshop shortly before the Gestapo storm the place and manage to take Smite and his compatriots, as well as a Jewish girl, away to a nearby train station.

After successfully destroying the V-2 rocket, the Warriors, Hamilton and Stockwell rescue Smite and others bound for concentration camps ("Galactica Discovers Earth," Parts II & III).
