Al is the sound operator and driver of the United Broadcasting Company camera van Brooks requests of Anne. Brooks goal is to get an exclusive interview with the reclusive Doctor Donald Mortinson, who despises the media, via Jamie Hamilton.
When Mortinson drives off with Troy, Dillon and Jamie Hamilton, Al is tasked with pursuing the car. Brooks' zealous pursuit of the story eventually leads to a full scale car chase that involves the police (1980: "Galactica Discovers Earth, Part II").
Notes[edit]
While uncredited for his appearance, actor Hal Frederick was identified via computer-aided face recognition. A later Galactica 1980 character is similarly named.
