Colonel Sydell is an officer with the United States Air Force charged with tracking down sightings of Unidentified Flying Objects (colloquially called "UFOs").
He is convinced that Troy and Dillon are somehow connected with the phenomena reported on Earth (The Super Scouts, Part II), and repeatedly tries to capture them (Spaceball).
