On 31 October 1980, in pursuit of [[Cylons (1980)|"disguised" Cylons]] [[Andromus]] and [[Centuri]], [[Troy (1980)|Troy]] and [[Dillon]] make their way to a theater where a variety show after evading a police chase. Finding white tuxedos on wardrobe racks, Troy and Dillon make their way onto the stage as part of a ''Good Ship Lollipop'' dance number, and Willis notices this happenstance.  


The [[Cylons (TOS)|"disguised" Cylons]] [[Andromus]] and [[Centuri]] accept a ride from Norman, needled by Shirley who believes they are humans such as they are, merely dressed up for the festivities. Unlike the laughing Shirley, his reaction is one of trepidation and discomfort.
He directs the members of law enforcement backstage, identifying the befuddled Galactican duo who, after lifting up an [[Lollipop star|unidentified actress]], utilize their [[Invisibility field|invisibility fields]] to effect their escape to the astonishment of spectators {{G80|The Night the Cylons Landed, Part I}}.
 
During the awkward car ride, Norman reveals his hatred of [[Arnie]]'s [[Arnie's meatballs|meatballs]], [[w:Vida Blue|Vida Blue]]'s appointment to the [[w:San Francisco Giants|San Francisco Giants]] and a negative view of Arnie's sister, [[Mildred]], whom he describes as so "romantically malnourished" that "she once proposed to a mugger in [[w:Central Park|Central Park]]". The only reason he attends the party is due to his belief that Arnie is the best music director in radio.
 
Upon the revelation by Shirley that Norman is the general manager of the [[WQSL]] radio station, of which Wolfman Jack is an on-air personality, Andromus believes the Wolfman can take them to radio equipment for them to communicate with the distant Cylon Empire {{G80|The Night the Cylons Landed, Part I}}.
 
Norman later expresses his concern to Arnie over [[Andromus]]' questions regarding the radio station, particularly noting that they were asking about the security arrangements. Norman is present when [[Centuri]] is subjected to microwave emissions from the microwave, but does not see Andromus' destruction of the microwave via his energy weapon as he makes a quip about putting [[w:gunpowder|gunpowder]] in the meatballs. The destruction of the microwave subsequently begins a fire in Arnie's apartment.

[[William Daniels]], who plays Norman, will later appear (in voice only) as K.I.T.T., a supercar from a more successful [[Glen Larson]] TV series, ''[[w:Knight Rider|Knight Rider]].'' Not so coincidentally, the K.I.T.T car's main sensor is identical to the Cylon Centurion red-eye scanner from Larson's ''Galactica'' days.

Chuck Willis[1] is a stage hand at a local theater house in or around New York City, New York.

On 31 October 1980, in pursuit of "disguised" Cylons Andromus and Centuri, Troy and Dillon make their way to a theater where a variety show after evading a police chase.
