Captain Kanon is a Viper pilot on patrol with Lieutenant Briton when a specialized Raider appears.
Unable to destroy the Raider, Kanon rams the enemy fighter with his Viper.
While he disables the Raider, Briton is injured and their Viper is considered missing for some time until it manages to limp back to Galactica to warn them of the humanoid Cylons detected aboard the stricken Raider (1980: "The Night the Cylons Landed, Part I").
