Javier Grillo-Marxuach (born October 28, 1969) is a television producer as well as writer of both comics and television. He is responsible for writing the Battlestar Galactica: Cylon Apocalypse four-issue series for Dynamite Comics.

Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, his forays into science fiction television include seaQuest DSV, Lost, Dark Skies, The Chronicle and Jake 2.0. Presently, he is a writer/producer for Medium, at least prior to the Writers Guild of America strike.
