edit source- While Starbuck refers to Arcta as a "moon," the readout on Rigel's scanner identifies the body as an asteroid. This is in keeping with the scientifically inconsistent references of the Original Series. Asteroids are small and not capable of having atmospheres due to their mass, whereas natural satellites ("moons") are capable.
- The Re-imagined Series' "Razor Flashbacks" offers a homage to Arcta, as the Colonials undertake a similar mission to attack a Cylon installation on an unnamed ice planet.
