Kiernu homeworld

The Okaati resettle the Kiernu homeworld following the Cylons' extermination of the Kiernu (Battlestar Galactica Classic #5).

The Kiernu homeworld is located in the Empyrean Expanse and is home to the Kiernu, the last of the known species within that region to have been victimized by the Okaati. Sometime after 7348, a narrow passage near the Kiernu homeworld is bypassed by the Fleet, much to the consternation of its Chancellor (Battlestar Galactica Classic #0 & #4).

The homeworld is later invaded by the Cylons under Lucifer's charge to offer "education" to its inhabitants for failure to either stop or delay the Fleet (Battlestar Galactica Classic #1).

Assuming the mantle of leader of the Comitat, Commander Adama gives the planet to the Okaati for them to settle upon before the Fleet's departure on its search for Earth (Battlestar Galactica Classic #5).
