The Cylon Troopship is a cylindrical vessel carries a large contingent of Cylon Centurions in a fast-deployment racks in compartments within the fuselage. The Troopship attacks by locking on to the hull of a larger capital ship and boring through to the internal deck spaces; the Cylons on board are then released into the enemy vessel to capture or destroy it. Troopships have a crew of two Cylons (2003 Video Game).

The ship shares a similar mission profile to the Heavy Raider from the Re-imagined Series.
