Marvel Comic Series
The Marvel Comics Battlestar Galactica comic book series lasted 23 issues from 1979 to 1981. The first 3 issues cover the pilot episode, "Saga of a Star World" and issues 4 and 5 cover the second episode, "Lost Planet of the Gods."
Starting with issue #6, the series ignores the rest of the events of the Original Series and begins completely original stories (Marvel's contract with Universal specifically did not allow them to use anything from the television series that followed "Lost Planet Of The Gods").
