Abbadon is an IL-series Cylon in command of a Cylon population on a planet centered in the path of the Canopus wormhole.

Abbadon is very concerned that an "infidel" Cylon basestar, blasted out of the sky by other Cylons under his command, is not completely and utterly destroyed. He orders Cylon bombers to return to the planet of Burania to finish the job, and orders a stealth Cylon team to watch over the planet for any intruders.

The stealth team detects Apollo and Starbuck's presence. They follow the two Colonial Warriors back to the Fleet, and make a boarding action on the science deck of battlestar Galactica (Battlestar Galactica: Cylon Apocalypse 1).
