For information on an unrelated planetary colony of the same name from the Re-imagined Series in the two-part episode, "Lay Down Your Burdens", see New Caprica.
New Caprica is a small colony in the Cyrannus System in the Video Game, settled by (but not one of) the Twelve Colonies. Home of Kassia and Callisto, and subjected to a devastating Cylon attack several years before the video game's events. This colony is most likely a habitable moon of Caprica.
Note
The "Battlestar Galactica" video game has its own continuity that uses elements from both the Original Series and the Re-imagined Series.
