Richard Milholland is an American actor who portrayed Killian in the Original Series' "The Gun on Ice Planet Zero, Part I".
Career
editMilholland established a career in American film and television during the early 1980s, primarily in supporting and character roles. His earliest credited work includes an appearance in the television series Flamingo Road in 1981, where he played a character named Jim.[external 1]
Film work
editIn 1981, Milholland appeared in Looker, a science fiction thriller written and directed by Michael Crichton. He portrayed a D.M.I. Truck Technician in the film, which starred Albert Finney, James Coburn, and Susan Dey.[external 2] The film explored themes of digital manipulation and computer-generated imagery in advertising, with Milholland's character being part of the technical crew that operates scanning equipment during commercial shoots.[external 3]
The following year, Milholland appeared in Vice Squad (1982), a crime thriller directed by Gary Sherman. He played the role of a Driver in this gritty police drama starring Season Hubley and Wings Hauser.[external 4]
Milholland's most substantial film role came in 1987's Fatal Beauty, an action-comedy starring Whoopi Goldberg and Sam Elliott. He portrayed a character named Charlie in this film about an undercover narcotics detective pursuing a dangerous cocaine ring.[external 5]
