A wavelon is the Colonial equivalent wavelength, the distance between repeating units in energy waves. Boomer indicates that he is changing the wavelon in some of the door circuitry when he is trying to unlock a jammed door to escape the smoke in the rejuvenation center (TOS: "Fire in Space").
