Brian Markinson is an actor of film and television who portrays Jordan Duram on Caprica, and Silas Nash on Blood and Chrome.
Markinson's other apperances in the genre include The X-Files, Dark Angel, Millennium, Stargate SG-1, in addition to appearances on three of the four Star Trek spinoff series, which are Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Voyager. According to Caprica executive Tom Lieber, Markinson is a prolific actor in the Vancouver area, having appeared in nearly every major science fiction series filmed there. Lieber refers to him as the "Old Yeller of Vancouver" for his reliability and consistent presence in local productions.[1]
