The Cylon Resurrection Hub is a space-based installation, the core of the Cylon nation, which coordinates the resurrection process among all of the Cylons' Resurrection Ships and other downloading facilities. Unlike the actual downloading process, the functions of the Resurrection Hub appear to have an indefinite range, and the Hub itself is irreplaceable. The Hub periodically jumps to a new location in order to prevent its discovery and relays its new location to the Cylon fleets via the Hybrids only after completing an FTL jump. The Resurrection Hub also contains a facility used to store boxed Cylons' consciousnesses, which means that they can be revived there.

At the start of the Cylon Civil War, Natalie plans to unbox the Number Threes, a task required to be carried out on their main Hub (The Ties That Bind). Following the return of Demetrius with the renegade basestar, Natalie talks with Admiral Adama and President Roslin and offers them a chance to destroy the Hub, in return for their help with unboxing the Threes. However, before the plan can be put into action, Natalie is shot by Sharon Agathon and the basestar jumps away after the Hybrid is woken up (Guess What's Coming To Dinner).

A Raptor soon discovers that the Hub has disappeared from its last known location. After another Raptor returns from the missing rebel basestar, damaged and with a dead pilot, a force recon happens upon a battle site. Colonial Vipers are found among the wreckage of what is believed to be the Resurrection Hub, indicating that the rebels were attacked by the other Cylons, but managed to retreat successfully (Sine Qua Non).
