Squadrons
editBlue Squadron
editBlue Squadron is an elite squadron often assigned to frontline combat and special missions. It is frequently led by Captain Apollo and includes pilots such as Starbuck and Boomer. Blue Squadron is tasked with investigating anomalies, such as the initial distress call from Freighter Eighteen and the mysterious Tharian spaceship, as well as leading major attack missions ((Comics: Look-In Magazine: Storyline 1), (Comics: Look-In Magazine: Storyline 2)).[1][2][3]
Red Squadron
editRed Squadron is an attack squadron that operates in conjunction with other units. Red Squadron is launched alongside Blue Squadron to engage a Cylon task force and create a diversion during the Heffren crisis (Comics: Look-In Magazine: Storyline 1).[4]
Green Squadron
editGreen Squadron is typically assigned to convoy patrol and interception duties. Green Squadron is launched to patrol the Fleet and is later dispatched to intercept an incoming Cylon attack force during the Parahelial Fever outbreak ((Comics: Look-In Magazine: Storyline 1), (Comics: Look-In Magazine: Storyline 3)).[5][6]
Cylon Counterpart
editThe Cylons also appear to organize their Raiders into named units.
Black Flight
editA Cylon Raider unit identified as Black Flight receives a report about the crippled Freighter Eighteen (Comics: Look-In Magazine: Storyline 1).[7]
