Magda Apanowicz (born November 8, 1985) is a Canadian actress who portrays Lacy Rand in Caprica.
Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Apanowicz has acted in various Vancouver-filmed genre shows including Jeremiah, Bionic Woman, Kyle XY, and Continuum.
During the production of Caprica, Apanowicz and co-star Ryan Kennedy (Odin Sinclair) would watch the Re-imagined Series together between takes.[1] She considers "Blowback" to be her favorite episode for her character, noting that it marks a point where Lacy, after being "very broken down and beaten," finds "strength through her weakness" and transforms from a follower into a leader.[2]
