Kanji has had minor roles in many TV shows such as Da Vinci's Inquest, The 4400, Andromeda, and Stargate: Atlantis. Kanji has a theatrical credit for the motion picture, Scary Movie.
Kanji portrays Candace Myson, one of the members of the tribunal that investigates a Cylon bombing in the episode, "Litmus".
She also portrays Natalie Stark, the mother of Ben Stark. She first appears in the Caprica episode "Rebirth"
