Battlestar Acropolis was one of five battlestars sent to the peace conference near the old moon Cimtar. The conference then turned out to be an ambush by the Cylons. While the Galactica was able to survive due to leaving the battle early to return to the Twelve Colonies, the attack destroyed the Battlestar Atlantia and three others, including Acropolis (TOS: "Saga of a Star World").
