Hatari sector is an area of space in the Cyranus galaxy (The Long Patrol) where Equellus lies.
The Hatari sector has at least three planetoids, including Equellus.
It is known to the Colonials, but is later apparently cut off from the Twelve Colonies before the Thousand Yahren War (The Lost Warrior).

- The picture of the planetary boides on Recon Probe 3's screen is reused footage from "Lost Planet of the Gods, Part I" that depicts the Otarsis Quadrant.
