A pressure suit, worn beneath the uniform, allows a pilot to survive the g-forces that can be achieved flying a Viper.
Notes
- Athena is seen wearing a pressure suit in "Saga of a Star World", even though she was only flying in a shuttle with Adama.
- Perhaps not coincidentally, only females are ever seen in pressure suits.
