Van Dyke is the second son of legendary American TV and film actor and entertainer, Dick Van Dyke.
Van Dyke got into show business early with his first television role at age nine, where he played a violin-toting nine year old in "The Talented Neighborhood" episode of his father's classic series, The Dick Van Dyke Show.
