Eden is a city on the planet Kobol. According to the Book of the Word, it was the largest city on the planet. Due to an ecological disaster that had caused the exodus from Kobol, Eden had become a desert, populated by ruins.
The structures of Eden are similar to Egyptian architecture, populated by pyramid structures (an architectural trait that is also apparent on Caprica). The Tomb of the Ninth Lord of Kobol is located within what remained of the city.
Eden is further damaged by a Cylon attack from Baltar's forces in the form of a Cylon Raider phalanx, as ordered by his cogitator Lucifer. (Lost Planet of the Gods, Part II)
