Picon is one of the Twelve Colonies, named after the zodiac constellation Pisces.

Re-imagined Series

One of the 12 colonies of man, located in the Cyrannus System (Video Game).

Picon was the location for the Colonial Fleet Headquarters (Mini-Series), and as such came under heavy attack during the early stages of the Cylon attack.

Following the destruction of Fleet Headquarters, Admiral Nagala took direct command of the Colonial fleet from the Battlestar Atlantia, until that was destroyed (Mini-Series). Additionally, President Adar offered a complete and unconditional surrender to the Cylons after Picon was nuked; this overture was ignored (Mini-Series, deleted scene).

Ellen Tigh claimed to be at the airport on Picon, "on her way home" when the attack started, and that some unknown hero ensured she was put on the last ship to get off the planet (Tigh Me Up, Tigh Me Down).

The Original Series

Not much was ever revealed of Picon during the original series, other than it was a Colony.
