Sector Hekla is the location on Arcta where the Colonial shuttle containing the expedition team crashes.
The garrison commander, a Centurion named Vulpa, orders the squadron commander to investigate the wreckage of the downed craft and to leave no survivors.
However, using the snowram's turret gun, the expedition team manages to fend off Cylons Raiders from this area, thus aiding in their escape from Cylon hands (TOS: "The Gun on Ice Planet Zero, Part I").
