The Cylon assault ship is a formidable, new type of Cylon warship commanded by the Imperious Leader.
It is deployed to engage a Colonial Viper squadron that is harassing a Cylon task force. The vessel proves difficult for the Vipers to damage. Its unique offensive capability involves discharging liquid tylium from its exhaust ports, which then ignites, creating a massive fireball that destroys at least one Viper. The ship is ultimately destroyed when Apollo fires a missile containing a modified impulse microvator into it, causing a chain reaction (Comics: Look-In Magazine: Storyline 1).[1]
