Sasha Roiz is the actor who portrays Sam Adama in the Caprica series.
According to the producers, Roiz's performance in the pilot was so strong that they significantly expanded the role of Sam Adama. The character was not initially planned to be a major player, but Roiz "punched through" in his scenes, leading the creative team to develop the character further.[1]
Roiz has appeared in both television and film. His television credits include appearances on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, CSI: Miami, and Navy NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service. Roiz's appearances in film include Assault on Precinct 13, 16 Blocks, and Land of the Dead.
