Anita Torrance is an Australian actress who portrays Mar-Beth Willow in Caprica.
Career
editTorrance has built her acting career primarily in Australian and New Zealand television productions. Her most prominent recurring role was as Tess Adamson in 57 episodes of the long-running New Zealand medical drama Shortland Street in 2007.[external 1]
Her television work includes appearances in several Australian series. She portrayed Tracy Allen in the episode "Running Scared" of the police drama Blue Heelers in 2004,[external 2] and Myra Blumberg in three episodes of the soap opera Neighbours from 2017 to 2018.[external 3] Additional television credits include a role as Dr. Evans in an episode of Smallville (2009),[external 4] Amy in the television movie Godsend (2010), and a role in the series Pit (2015).[external 5]
Her film work includes a role as Secretary in the action thriller Blacklight (2022), starring Liam Neeson.[external 6] Her most recent credit is Sam's Teacher in the television miniseries All Her Fault (2025).[external 7]
