The Zaroakians are the humanoid inhabitants of the planet Zaroak.

When the Colonials encounter them, the Zaroakian people are enslaved, forced to work in mines under the rule of their dictator, Mendrix, who has allied himself with the Cylons. A resistance movement exists among the slaves, led by figures such as the mine overseer Tubak.

The arrival of Apollo's team acts as a catalyst for a planet-wide slave revolt after the Cylons murder Mendrix and their betrayal is revealed to the populace. After successfully overthrowing their oppressors, the newly freed Zaroakians express a desire for isolation and ask the Fleet to leave their world ^{(Comics: Look-In Magazine: Storyline 4)}.
