Original Series
The Gemini appears in the Original Series as the ship where Cassiopeia is rescued in "Saga of a Star World." Refugees are primarily from the Gemenon Colony and are living in the ship's freight containers. The freighter is one of several ships suspected of having a solium leak.
Re-imagined Series
The Gemini is a freighter in the fleet assembled by Laura Roslin.
Notes
Interestingly, to the Colonials, "Gemini" is the ancient word for Gemenon. Why the ship's owners chose to use this ancient term (rather than the contemporary) is unclear; it is likely that the usage of "Gemini" is a nod to its original series counterpart.
An identical freighter, with the same markings (including the name Gemini on the hull) is shown in the Galactica 1980 episode The Super Scouts, Part I. It is referred to as the Delphi, but is clearly stock footage from Saga of a Star World.
